Game contribution: the setting that changes everything
Two players clear the same bonus under the same terms. One stakes €7,000, the other stakes €70,000. The difference is game contribution: the percentage of each euro staked that counts towards the wagering requirement. Slots normally count in full, live dealer games often count a tenth, and some titles count nothing at all.

Does every euro you stake count towards wagering?
A wagering requirement is expressed in money, but progress towards it is weighted by game. Slots normally count 100% — stake €1, clear €1 of the requirement. Roulette, blackjack, video poker and the live dealer tables are weighted far lower, and individual titles can be excluded from contributing at all.
The requirement itself never changes. What changes is how much you actually have to stake to satisfy it, and that is the number nobody prints next to the headline.
Why does clearing a bonus on live blackjack take so much longer?
Take the standard package on this site: a €100 deposit, a €100 bonus, 35× on the total. The requirement is €7,000 of contributed wagering, and no choice you make moves it.
On slots at 100% that is €7,000 of stakes. At 10% it is €70,000. The expected cost travels with the stakes rather than with the requirement: at a 4% house edge the first costs around €280 to produce and the second around €2,800, against a bonus of €100. Choosing the wrong game does not make a bonus slightly harder. It makes it a different product.
What our data can and cannot tell you here
Contribution is not one of the nine fields we record per offer. Our 52-casino study therefore cannot tell you what a typical weighting is, and we are not going to average one into existence.
What the study does hold is worked cases. Caxino states 35× on bonus money for slots but 70× for table games — the same requirement, doubled, which is a 50% weighting written the other way round. Three further records, at Betplay.io, CryptoLeo and Millioner, restrict the welcome bonus to slots outright, so nothing else contributes anything, and a fourth narrows it further still: at Lucky Ones both the bonus and the spins are playable on one slot only. Every one of those conditions sits in the terms and none of them appears in the marketing.
Where to check, and the traps in the table
The contribution table sits in the bonus terms, not on the promotions page. Look for a list of game categories with percentages beside them, plus a separate list of excluded titles, and read both — the second list is where the high-RTP slots tend to be.
Three habits are worth forming before you rely on it. Mixed play is added proportionally, not averaged: €100 on slots at 100% and €100 on live blackjack at 10% contributes €110, not €200. The same title from two different studios can carry two different weightings. And a game listed at 0% is not always harmless — some operators treat play on it during an active bonus as a breach rather than simply as no progress.

Which games contribute 100%?
Slots, in the normal case. That is why a welcome bonus at these casinos is effectively a slots bonus whatever the marketing implies, and why the 200 free spins attached to it fit the rest of the offer rather than sitting oddly beside it. The exact percentage is still the operator's to set, so read the table rather than assuming it.
Can you mix games while clearing a bonus?
Yes, and the arithmetic is additive rather than averaged. Fifty euro staked on slots at full weight plus 50 euro on live blackjack at a tenth moves the counter by 55 euro, not by 100. Mixing is not penalised. It is simply slower than the headline multiplier suggests.
Do excluded games void the bonus?
It depends which of two rules the operator uses. Most treat an excluded game as contributing nothing, which costs you time and money but not the bonus. Some treat any play on an excluded game during active wagering as a breach. Check which sentence your terms contain before you open one.
Is the contribution rate the same at every casino?
No, and it is not a field we record, so we cannot tell you what is typical. Our own study holds one operator charging double for table games and three restricting the bonus to slots entirely. Read the table on the operator's terms page rather than assuming a market standard exists.
