These are the words in the terms and conditions that decide whether a bonus is worth claiming. Each definition is deliberately short; where a term needs the arithmetic, it links to the guide that works it out.
- Wagering requirement
- The number of times you must bet a bonus, and often your deposit too, before winnings can be withdrawn. A 35× requirement on a 500 € bonus means 17,500 € in bets. Read the guide →
- Rollover
- Another word for the wagering requirement: the total turnover you have to stake before a bonus becomes real, withdrawable money. Read the guide →
- Turnover to clear

- Maximum bet rule
- A cap on how much you can stake per spin or hand while a bonus is active, commonly 5 €. Going over it can void the bonus and every win attached to it. Read the guide →
- Game weighting
- The share each game type contributes to wagering. Slots usually count 100%, table games far less, so 1 € bet on roulette may clear only a few cents of the requirement. Read the guide →
- Free spins

- No-deposit bonus

- Sticky bonus

- Non-sticky bonus

- Deposit match
- A bonus that mirrors your deposit by a set percentage. A 100% match doubles your money, up to a cap — 500 € across these operators. Read the guide →
- Welcome bonus

- Reload bonus
- A deposit bonus for existing players on later deposits, usually smaller than the welcome offer and run as a recurring promotion.
- Cashback
- A refund of a percentage of net losses over a set period, sometimes with lighter wagering than a match bonus, or none at all.
- RTP (return to player)

- House edge

- Volatility

- Free bet

- Maximum cashout
- A cap on how much you can withdraw from a bonus, no matter how much you win with it. Winnings above the cap are forfeited.
- Time limit

- Opt-in
