How sportsbook welcome bonuses work

Seven of the eight casinos on this site run a sportsbook welcome bonus separate from the casino package. Three pay 100% up to €200 and four pay 100% up to €100, so the cap differs by a factor of two. The mechanics differ too: minimum odds decide which bets count towards the rollover at all.

In short

A sportsbook welcome bonus matches your first sports deposit and must be rolled over, with minimum odds deciding which bets count. Seven of the eight casinos here offer one alongside the casino package; Buran does not. Caps split two ways: 100% up to €200 at three of them, 100% up to €100 at four.

Is the sportsbook bonus separate from the casino offer?

The sportsbook bonus sits outside the casino package: its own qualifying deposit, its own rollover, its own opt-in. Seven of the eight operators here publish one, and Buran Casino is the exception with no sports offer at all.

How the two interact is the operator's choice, and it matters more than the caps. Spinit makes you pick one at registration, and treats the choice as final. LibraBet is the clearest case of the opposite arrangement — the casino package on the first deposit, the sportsbook offer on a later qualifying one — which is strictly better, because you are not deciding before you have seen the site. Elsewhere, read the sequence off the promotions page first; it is usually irreversible once set.

How much do the sportsbook bonuses pay?

BassBet, Spinanga and Nomini pay 100% up to €200. Rabona, Casinia, LibraBet and Spinit pay 100% up to €100. On a €200 first deposit that is a €100 difference in bonus for an otherwise identical account, and it is the largest gap between these operators on the sports side.

Four of them also run a crypto sportsbook variant at 100% up to 200 USDT: Rabona, Casinia, BassBet and Spinanga. Like the crypto casino track, it is an alternative to the euro offer rather than an addition to it.

What are minimum odds, and why do they matter?

The clause that decides what your rollover actually counts is the minimum odds. A bet priced below the threshold contributes nothing towards it, which removes the low-risk approach most people reach for first — the short-priced favourite is the thing the clause exists to filter out.

Minimum odds are outside the nine fields we record, and our 52-casino study covers casino bonuses rather than sports offers, so we have no market-typical figure to give you and will not invent one. Read it off the operator's page before the first bet. Look in the same clause for how void, cancelled and cashed-out bets are treated, and for whether an accumulator has to clear the minimum as a whole or leg by leg.

Bonus funds versus free bets

A bonus funds offer credits an amount you stake like cash, subject to rollover, and the stake comes back with the return. A free bet is a single stake where you keep the winnings but not the stake: a €20 free bet at decimal odds of 2.00 returns €20, where €20 of your own money at the same price returns €40.

That makes a free bet worth meaningfully less than the same figure in bonus funds — on an even-money bet, about half. The headline rarely makes the distinction, so the thing to find in the terms is whether the stake is returned.

Frequently asked

Which casino has the best sportsbook bonus?

On the cap alone, BassBet, Spinanga and Nomini pay 100 per cent up to 200 euro, double the 100 euro at Rabona, Casinia, LibraBet and Spinit. Buran runs no sportsbook offer. The cap is only half the comparison though: the minimum odds and the rollover decide what the cap is worth.

Can you take both the casino and sportsbook bonus?

Usually yes, on separate qualifying deposits, and LibraBet states that arrangement explicitly. Spinit is the exception and asks you to choose one at registration, with no way back. Check the sequence on the promotions page before the first deposit, because it is usually irreversible.

Do all bets count towards the rollover?

Not automatically. A bet priced under the minimum odds contributes nothing, and void, cancelled and cashed-out bets are commonly excluded as well. Some operators apply the minimum odds to every leg of an accumulator rather than to the whole bet, so the same slip can count at one book and not at another.

Is a free bet the same as bonus funds?

No, and the gap is larger than it looks. A free bet returns the winnings but not the stake, so a 20 euro free bet at decimal odds of 2.00 pays 20 euro where 20 euro of your own money would pay 40. On an even-money price a free bet is worth roughly half the same amount in bonus funds.
